What happened today har... Let me rethink...
The first lesson was Chinese. We had to do some essay writing on the description of people. I only wrote a 2-page long essay. Haiz... I've resigned myself to fate that my Chinese stinks...
Next-up was Biology. We learnt more about carbohydrates and did a short group discussion at the end of the lesson. In conclusion, Biology lesson today was... very Bio-like.
After that was a 1-period break. I rushed down to the canteen to get curry puff. I LOVE IT! It's like chicken pie (which I LOVE EVEN MORE!!!) except that it's slightly cheaper ($0.40). Pity those who have never tried the pastries from 'Hot Drinks & Snacks'.
Physics was up next. I think we learnt the most this lesson compared to other previous lessons. Mr Boy wasn't digressing about morals and such. And we were let off on time... not earlier like other lessons.
During the 2-period break, I ate carrot cake. So long since I ate fried food because of my freaking ulcer. Finally, I could satisfy my craving for unhealthy food.
Maths was as usual... nothing to comment about except that Mr Lam is getting cornier and cornier. Good for him!
EA was about Korea Prep. Sesil from 2006 batch was here to explain to us about Korean culture and stuff. She also taught us some Korean. I mean, how cool is that!
At 5pm was the inter-house debate. Pegasus was against Pheonix. We both had a tough fight (according to Daryl) and the nest speaker was Callista from Pheonix. The champion house who gets to enter the finals is............... (wait for the announcement on Monday). Urrrrrg! Must withold anticipation. Surely to feel jittery and uneasy over the weekend. Really hope Pegaus is given a chance to compete with Draco!
P.s. An idea about K-night hit my mind. We could do a Korean-Singapore Fashion Fusion Fetish... must be thinking about Project Runway, I miss that show...

What happened to day har... Give me a moment to rethink...
The first lesson of the day was Chinese, but the worst part of it was that we had to do a on-the-spot freaking essay on describing people!!! I chose the topic ‘一个对你影响很深刻的人‘. So, I had to force myself through writing 2 pages, I know that is seriously short and pathetic... but I've resigned myself to the fate of my poor chinese talent... just joking la! Then, chinese lesson ended without any teaching. Am I glad? SO NOT!!! I prefer learning than writing... at least you can daydream during the lesson.
Next up was Biology. Learnt more about carbohydrates and had to do a short group discussion at the end. Biology today was... Bio-like!
During the 1 period break, I went down to buy curry puff. I LOVE IT!!! Its almost the same as chicken pie (which I LOVE EVEN MORE) except that it is cheaper by $0.40. Pity those who have never tried any of the pastrys from the 'Hot Drinks & Snacks' stall.
After the break was Physics lesson. I think we learnt the most from today's lesson compared to the others. Mr Boy wasn't digressing today and we were released on time... not earlier like usual.
For the next 2 periods break, I went down to the canteen to buy carrot cake. So long since I touched something fried because of my freaking ulcer. It tasted excellent, perhaps because it was the first fried food in like 1 week.
Next was Maths. As usual, we finished the previous worksheet and was a given new one. Somehow, I feel that we might be going a bit too fast in Maths. A new worksheet is given out almost every lesson.
For EA this week, we had Sesil form 2006 batch to give as some information about Korea. She also taught as some Korean. I mean, how cool is that! Really looking forwrad to the Korea trip.
P.s. Oh yeah, we could have a Korea-Singapore Fashion Fusion for K-night... that is if someone knows how to sew...

I believe that there is such a thing as universal truth because I'm a Christian and I believe that the Bible says it all.
However, what is universal truth in the modern day context? What is considered good and bad? To what extent is good good and bad bad? How do we interpret universal truth and apply it in reality? Who gives the guidelines for universal truth? Is it the pastors? Is it law? Are their interpretation of universal truth infallible? How do we practise the truth if the lines of universal truth are obscure? What will happen to us? Are we to be blamed? What can we do to understand universal truth? Can universal truth be truly understood?
