Get it straight from the horse's mouth
Meaning: To confirm details direct from the persons involved instead of obtaining details through rumours and etc. Example: Concerning the rumour of whether Di Ji is indeed the incarnation of a horse , you should be getting it straight from the horse's mouth and ask Di Ji directly. horse's mouth... ask Di Ji... GET IT?!?!?!
